Quick answer
A Raspberry Pi running LibreELEC or OSMC (both based on Kodi) makes a capable, low-cost IPTV player using Kodi's official PVR IPTV Simple Client.
Before you start
- An active Kemo IPTV trial or subscription (your activation email contains your login details).
- A stable internet connection — about 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps or more for 4K, per stream.
- Raspberry Pi 4 or 5, a quality microSD card and the official power supply.
Recommended player apps
| Player | Login methods | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Kodi (PVR IPTV Simple Client) | M3U | Free and open-source. |
Player apps are made by independent developers. Install them only from official app stores or the developer's own website. We don't publish APK files or download codes.
Which login method to use
- M3U playlist URL: A single web address that points to the full channel playlist. Most players, including VLC and Kodi, can open it.
Set up
- Use Raspberry Pi Imager to write LibreELEC or OSMC to the microSD card.
- Boot the Pi, connect to your network (Ethernet recommended).
- In Kodi: Add-ons → Install from repository → PVR clients → PVR IPTV Simple Client.
- Configure the add-on with your M3U link (General) and EPG link (EPG), then restart Kodi.
TV guide (EPG) setup
Add the XMLTV link in the add-on's EPG settings.
